SoldEazy is now doing a system update as eBay will stop using active content from June 2017. For detailed eBay policy change, please refer to the following page:

http://pages.ebay.com/sell/itemdescription/bestpractices.html

Why Replace Active Content?

Active content such as JavaScript and Flash hinders mobile purchases, creates longer load times, and increases security vulnerabilities.

When will eBay start banning?

Active content will be disabled in all listings across all devices starting in June, 2017.

SoldEazy has made amendments on template designer system in order to keep up with eBay’s latest policy change, all listings using SoldEazy templates can be bulk edited after simple clicks.

From (Wednesday 10 May), you can go to page “Tools>Designer>Listing Template Designer”, then choose to “Sync” the template(s) you need to change, all listings related will be synced up to eBay simultaneously.(Tutorial material download)

If you were using HTML codes you designed yourself, we recommend you use SoldEazy’s “Transform” function, then directly adopt SoldEazy’s new templates without active contents so that your listings can fit eBay’s new policy. (Tutorial material download)

Please sync up your templates in Tools>Designer> Listing Template Designer to remove active contents from 10 May. Please also be reminded that If you haven’t updated your templates before 24 May, we would update your templates from our backend platform in case eBay delist your listings when new policy comes into effect.

Aside from template designer, SoldEazy will also update operation dashboard. New functions are always available, just be prepared to have fun using SoldEazy!
